The map, entitled\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/munkschool.utoronto.ca\/canasiafootprint\/\">CANASIA FOOTPRINT<\/a>, displays nearly 1200 locations of Canadian companies and organizations in Asia and offers\u00a0various filtering features based on a company\u2019s sector, country and provinces in which it operates. Based on publicly available data, this is a living, evolving\u00a0map that helps illustrate the involvement of Canadian business community in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>CCBC is pleased to distribute a China-specific <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.ccbc.com\/research-reports\/bfm\/\">report\u00a0<\/a> <\/strong>based on the China data in the map, written by a team of students at<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the Munk School\u2019s Capstone graduate course. The report has a particular focus on agrifood, cleantech and information communications technology (ICT) sectors. Another useful feature of the map, as the report explains, is how factors such as a\u00a0company&rsquo;s province of origin, size, market concentration, and available public information about it can help analyze business trends that pertain\u00a0to Canadian businesses in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The map remains\u00a0a work-in-progress.
