LU Shaye<\/strong>, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Canada, was the keynote speaker\u00a0and\u00a0The Honourable Denis Coderre<\/strong>, Mayor of Montreal, was a guest speaker at a CCBC business luncheon on Thursday, April 27, 2017.<\/p>\n

Mr. LU discussed China’s commitment to promoting a stronger bilateral relationship with Canada. He also explained the latest developments in China-Canada relations and elaborate on China’s plans to welcome Canadian businesses.<\/p>\n

Mr. Coderre updated guests on the City’s progress regarding its developments in bilateral trade and investment, following his trip to Shanghai that included a gala celebrating the\u00a0inaugural Montreal-Shanghai flight.<\/p>\n
